What Is the MB-01 28-Plate Heat Exchanger?

Heat exchangers are used in heating and cooling systems to transfer heat between two fluids. They are machines that allow different fluids to pass through opposite sides of the exchanger plates and transfer heat through the plates without mixing.
They can be used for heating or cooling water, oil, and similar fluids. To explain the basic principle for heating: water coming from a heat source such as a combi boiler enters and exits the first plate of the heat exchanger, while cold water from the system enters and exits through the second plate.
As these two fluids enter and exit without mixing, the copper plates between them equalize their temperatures by transferring heat from one fluid to the other. That is, when cold and hot fluids enter through the top connections of the heat exchanger, the temperatures of the fluids exiting through the bottom connections are nearly equal. The operating principle can be seen in the chart below.

Where Is the MB-01 28-Plate Heat Exchanger Used?
