Product description

What Are the Specifications of the Winpo WNP 200 7-Floor 10-Unit Booster Pump with 50 L Horizontal Tank?

These types of twin-pump booster sets are systems used in apartment buildings, villas, schools, hospitals, factories, and housing complexes.

The booster pump automatically activates the moment water consumption begins and automatically stops when water consumption ends.

These are domestic small-size booster pumps ideal for residential use. With the capacity to draw water from a depth of 8 m, these booster pumps provide maximum suction even in locations with aerated water. They can be used with confidence in locations requiring high pressure at low power consumption. These long-lasting booster pumps can be used in buildings of up to 7 floors and 10 units, as well as for garden irrigation.

Our booster pumps are assembled from quality materials, fully tested, and shipped to the customer in perfect working order. All settings are pre-configured; only the plumbing and electrical connections need to be made. Covered by a 2-year warranty.

The pre-charge gas pressure of the expansion vessel must be checked every 6 months and any pressure loss must be topped up.

The advantage of the expansion vessel in a booster system is that when only a small amount of water is used, the booster pump does not activate; it first draws from the water stored in the tank, and the pump only starts when the tank is empty. The benefit is that the pump won't cycle on and off with every water use, resulting in a longer service life. In other words, the larger the expansion vessel in your booster system, the more water it stores, meaning the pump works less and lasts longer.

Winpo WNP 200 7-Floor 10-Unit Booster Pump with 50 L Horizontal Tank – Points to Note During Use

If the booster pump draws water from a storage tank, it is advisable to use a float switch in case the tank runs dry. When the tank runs dry, it stops the unit from operating and prevents motor failure. When the tank refills, the booster pump automatically restarts.

Plumbing Materials

If your booster pump draws water from the same level or from a higher elevation, a check valve must be used on the suction line. A check valve must also always be used on the discharge line.

If your booster pump draws water from below its own level — i.e., from a negative elevation — a foot valve must be used to prevent air locks.

To protect your booster pump from debris that may form in the water during suction, you can purchase a Y-strainer.

To ensure your booster pump stops automatically when the water in the tank or well runs out, you need to purchase a float switch. A water level float switch is used only with tank or ball-valve models; a float switch is not needed with pressure-controller-type booster pumps.
