The booster pump automatically activates the moment water consumption begins and automatically stops when water consumption ends.

These are domestic small household booster pumps ideal for residential use. With a suction capacity of 8 m, these booster pumps achieve maximum suction even in locations where water is aerated. They can be used safely in locations where high pressure is required with low power consumption. They are long-lasting booster pumps suitable for use in buildings up to 5 floors and 5 units, as well as for garden irrigation.

Our booster pumps are assembled from quality materials, fully tested, and shipped to the customer in perfect working order. All settings are pre-configured; only the plumbing and electrical connections need to be made. Covered by a 2-year warranty.

The pre-charge gas pressure of the expansion vessel must be checked every 6 months and any pressure loss must be topped up.

In booster sets, the advantage of the expansion vessel is that when a small amount of water is used, the booster pump does not activate — it first uses the water stored in the tank, and only when that is depleted does the pump start. This means the pump will not stop and start with every water use, resulting in a longer service life. In other words, the larger the expansion vessel on your booster set, the more water it stores, meaning the pump will work less hard and last longer.

Important Notes When Using the Winpo WNP 150 5-Floor 5-Unit Booster Pump with 50 L Horizontal Tank

If the booster pump will draw water from a storage tank, it is advisable to use a level float switch in case the tank runs dry. If the tank runs dry, it will stop the unit from operating and prevent motor damage. When the tank refills, the booster pump will automatically resume operation.

Plumbing Materials

If your booster pump draws water from the same level or from above, a check valve must be used on the suction line. A check valve must also be installed on the discharge line.

If your booster set draws water from below its own level (i.e., from a negative elevation), a foot valve must be used to prevent air entry.

To protect your booster pump from debris that may form in the water during suction, you can purchase a Y-strainer.

To ensure your booster pump stops automatically when the water in the tank or well runs out, you need to purchase a float switch. A water level float switch is used only with tank or ball-valve models; a float switch is not needed with pressure-controller-type booster pumps.
