What Is an Adjustable Safety Relief Valve?

An adjustable safety relief valve is the name given to a valve mechanism that automatically releases gas when a set temperature or pressure limit is reached in pressurized tanks and other systems.

The use of safety relief valves in boilers and tanks to ensure safety is of great importance. Safety relief valves are also used as auxiliary components in heat exchangers and pressurized tanks.

The membrane inside the valve is manufactured to be resistant to wear. Opening pressures are fixed, and set values can be pre-adjusted at the factory upon request.

It is installed in the system to prevent excessively high fluid pressure from damaging the installation, a device connected to it, or a valve. It features a spring-loaded mechanism that operates on the back-pressure principle.

Various connection diameters are available depending on boiler capacity and the amount of water in the system. When valve capacity is insufficient, multiple safety relief valves can be connected in series on the line.
