Product description

Vibramod VMA 15/900 Vibration Motor, Three-Phase (380V), 1,500 rpm, 907.54 kgf, 0.57 kW

Vibration motors are also known as screening and vibrating motors. Electric vibration motors are manufactured for industrial use in various vibrating machines such as filters, silos, surface cleaning equipment, conveyors, feeders, dosing systems, and test tables. The vibrating motion is generated by the oscillation of eccentric weights mounted on both ends of an asynchronous motor shaft.

Installation

  • Vibration motors are generally set to 100% impact force during the production stage.
  • The mounting surface for the vibration motor must be smooth and free of paint.
  • Unbalanced foot connections can cause noise and loosening during operation; ensure that the feet are level.
  • Electrical connections must be made by qualified personnel with the necessary technical knowledge.

Maintenance

  • Vibration motor maintenance must be performed by qualified personnel with the necessary technical knowledge.
  • Before performing maintenance on the vibration motor, ensure that the electrical power supply has been disconnected.
  • Worn or damaged parts on the vibration motor must always be replaced with original parts.
  • On frequently operated vibration motors, the fixing bolts and electrical connection nuts should be checked at least 1 time every 2 weeks.
  • Ball bearings require no lubrication; bearings that have reached the end of their service life must be replaced by qualified personnel.
  • Roller bearings must be lubricated every 2,400 hours as standard. More frequent lubrication is recommended under heavy operating conditions. Lubrication can be performed easily through the grease nipple indicated on the housing, without removing the bearing.
