Product description

Sumak SMT 550/3-S Hot Water Centrifugal Pump Features

Designed for use in hot water up to 90 °C. The impeller is made of GG25 cast iron. Single-stage centrifugal pumps.

These pumps are ideal for suction from depths up to 6 m and delivery up to a maximum height of 34 m. They are used for agricultural flood and drip irrigation, bilge water discharge on vessels, drainage of lightly contaminated water, and applications requiring high flow rates.

Plumbing Materials

If your pump draws water from the same level or from a higher elevation, a check valve must be used on the suction line. A check valve must also always be used on the discharge line. Click to purchase a check valve.

If your pump draws water from below its own level — i.e., from a negative elevation — a foot valve must be used to prevent air locks. Click to purchase a foot valve.
