What Is the 5SDF9 Stainless Steel Submersible Pump?
In submersible pumps, the motor is mounted directly adjacent to the pump casing. These connection points are insulated to be airtight and watertight, ensuring a sealed assembly. The advantage of submersible pumps is that they operate without exposure to any external factors.
Mechanical seal systems prevent the fluid from being pumped into the motor section. The pump can be connected directly to a pipe, flexible hose or system piping. Among the many types of submersible pumps, single-stage models are used for drainage, sewage, general industry and slurry pumping. Multistage submersible pumps are the conventional type used for extracting water from deep boreholes and wells.
Submersible pumps are generally used for water supply, irrigation and sprinkler systems, groundwater level control, and pressurizing clean or lightly contaminated water in heat pump applications. Ornamental pools and fountains are also areas where these pumps can be used.
The ideal application for submersible pumps is small-diameter dug wells, boreholes, and tunnels. They require no site preparation because they need no maintenance and can only be used after being fully submerged in the fluid.
Because they operate fully submerged in liquid, they do not cause noise or vibration, providing comfortable use. In addition, since the pump and motor are in a location inaccessible to the user, faults caused by user error are very rare.
The 5SDF9 Stainless Steel Submersible Pump is used to supply pressurized clean water from boreholes and wells up to 72 m vertically and 720 m horizontally, and for booster pump purposes in villas and vacation homes. These pumps, used in wells and boreholes, are single-phase (220V domestic power) submersible pumps that do not require a separate control panel and are ready for practical use. A 30 m cable + float switch + control panel is included in the price.
