What Is a Thermometer?
A thermometer is an instrument used to measure temperature. Thermometric properties are used to evaluate temperature in a thermometer. Length, volume, pressure, electrical resistance, potential difference, color change, and the thermal radiation intensity of surfaces are thermometric properties.
