The 542470 TC2 is a single-pole, liquid-filled immersion thermostat with switching contacts, completed with a waterproof protective casing. Typically applied to distribution pipes, the thermostat is especially suitable for the automatic regulation of boilers, pumps, and other applications.

The boiler thermostat is used in hot-water-producing heating devices such as heating boilers, tea boilers, kettles, unit heaters, thermal oil boilers, combi boilers, hot water cylinders, and electric water heaters.
