What Is a Honeywell Pressure Reducing Valve?
The air pressure to be used in pneumatic circuits must be reduced to the desired working pressure. Pneumatic pressure regulators reduce the system pressure to an adjustable working pressure and maintain it largely constant despite variations in air consumption and fluctuations in system pressure. Pneumatic pressure regulators only work in the direction of reducing line pressure; it is not possible to set a pressure higher than the line pressure.
It prevents problems caused by sudden increases in municipal water supply pressure, minimizing the risk of pipe bursts in the plumbing of your home and/or workplace. Models with a pressure gauge are recommended for ease of adjustment.
