Caleffi Pressure Reducing Valve with Pressure Gauge, DN25, Union Connection
Pressure reducing valves are devices that, when installed in dedicated water systems, reduce and stabilize the pressure of water coming from the main supply. This inlet pressure is generally too high and variable to be applied directly to domestic systems.
The pressure reducing valves in this series can be pre-set. The valve can be adjusted to the desired pressure value before installation using an adjustment head with a pressure setting indicator.
After installation, the system pressure will automatically adjust itself to the set value. The internal cartridge, which contains all regulating components, is pre-assembled as a "self-contained unit" to facilitate inspection and maintenance procedures. A model is also available equipped with an observable high-capacity filter housed in a special transparent chamber. This filter protects the pressure reducing valve and the water system from contaminants that may come from the water source.
