Ashirvad submersible pump column pipes are among the most reliable and high-quality column pipes used in submersible pump installation. U-PVC column pipes are preferred because they do not harbor bacteria, do not react chemically with water, do not alter the taste or composition of water, and cause no discoloration or taste change in drinking water or utility water. They are used with a steel cable for submersible pump installations in water boreholes up to 250 m deep. Installation is easy and cost-effective.

UNIQUE AND SUPERIOR FEATURES OF ASHIRVAD COLUMN PIPES
Wirelock™
Registered Design – Patented in India, with patents also registered in Europe, South Africa, and Nigeria. In this unique Wirelock™ system developed by Ashirvad Pipes, the coupler (1" and above) is fitted to the pipe and locked with a special stainless steel wire, eliminating the chance of the connector loosening or the sleeve slipping during disassembly and/or assembly. It prevents over-tightening of the pipe and connector. Only Ashirvad holds a patent for a system of this uniqueness.
'O' Ring
'O' Ring
Ashirvad Pipes, a pioneer in the PVC pipe industry since 1975, was the first company to develop column pipes for submersible pumps made from UPVC. The coupling makes installation very easy. The 'O' ring, sealant, and coupling system provide a leak-proof assembly and also absorb the vibrations of the pump, which extends the service life of the motor and pump bearings.
Unique Thick-and-Thin Pipe Manufacturing
To compensate for the material removed by threading, the threaded end of the pipes is made thicker through this innovative technique — an innovation unique to Ashirvad. After the thread is cut, the residual wall thickness at the end is the same as the barrel thickness, so the pipe strength remains unchanged.
Square Thread
The pipe joints are specially designed with square threads to ensure proper grip and prevent slipping. These are high-friction load-bearing threads that do not loosen even under the constant forward and reverse torques generated by starting and stopping the pump. All threads are thoroughly checked with pitch gauges to ensure 100% accuracy.
