This page explains how the Supomp Android application works, which device permissions it requests and for what, which notifications it sends, and which data is stored on your device. The application is published by İkra Hidro Pompa.
1. How does the application work?
- The Supomp app displays the supomp.com site inside the app. Your account, cart, orders and support chat are the same as on the site; in the app, the data described in the Privacy Policy is processed for the same purposes.
- Because pages and features are loaded from our server, the content in the app is updated whenever the site is updated. The app itself is updated via Google Play.
- When there is no internet connection, the app displays a connection warning screen.
- Links to phone, e-mail, WhatsApp, maps and other sites open in the relevant app on your device. The card payment form (PayTR) and your bank's verification screen open inside the app; third-party cookies are allowed inside the app so that the card payment form and your bank's verification screen can work.
- No ads are shown in the app, no advertising ID is used, and there is no third-party analytics or advertising software. Google's Firebase service is used solely to deliver notifications.
- Statistics measurement in the app, as on the site, works only if you give permission (Cookie Policy).
- The package name of our app on Google Play is com.ikra.supomp.
2. Permissions
The app does not request device permissions all at once at launch. Each permission is requested only at the moment you use the related feature, via Android's permission dialog; before the permission dialog we briefly explain why the permission is needed. If you do not grant permission, only that feature will not work; you can continue to use the rest of the app.
| Permission | What it is used for | When it is requested |
|---|---|---|
| Camera | Taking and attaching a photo or video in the support chat or in a product review. When İkra AI responds in chat, the photos you send are also processed on Anthropic (USA) infrastructure. | When you want to open the camera. The camera is only used while you are taking a shot. |
| Microphone | Recording a voice message in the support chat. Voice messages are not sent to İkra AI. | The first time you press the microphone button. Recording is only performed while you are using the button. |
| Location (approximate and precise) | Sending your current location once in the support chat (for example to show your address or where the product is located). When İkra AI responds, location information (coordinates and description) is also processed on Anthropic (USA) infrastructure. For services provided only in certain provinces, such as installation, determining the province you are in on your device; in this check, the location does not leave your device. | When you tap "Send location" or "Check by my location". If you have already performed the province check, on pages that show a service area the check can be done without being asked again. Location is not obtained in the background. |
| Notifications (Android 13 and above) | Support reply, quote and order status notifications; work notifications for our employees | If you have not granted permission, the app asks each time it is opened with a short explanation; Android's permission dialog opens when you tap "Allow" |
| Internet and network status | Opening the site inside the app and showing a warning when there is no connection | No permission is requested |
| Vibration and sound settings | Vibration for notifications; adjusting audio input during voice message recording | No permission is requested |
| Receiving notifications (Firebase) | Technical permissions added by the notification infrastructure so that notifications reach the device (receiving notifications and briefly waking the device) | No permission is requested |
The app does not request permissions such as contacts, SMS, call logs, calendar, background location, storage, access to all photos and videos, or the list of installed apps. When selecting photos and files, Android's system picker is used; the app only accesses the file you selected.
You can revoke the permissions you have granted at any time in Android settings under Apps › Supomp › Permissions. You can also use Android's one-time permission and approximate location options.
3. Notifications
- To customers: When the support team or İkra AI replies in your chat, when a special quote or quote cart is sent to you, and when the status of your order changes (for example when your order is received, your payment is received, your order is prepared, shipped, delivered, canceled or returned). You can select which notifications to receive by type under My Account › Settings › Notifications, and you can view your past notifications on the My Account › My Notifications page. We do not send campaign, discount or advertising notifications.
- To our employees (admin and editor): New order, payment, cancellation and return, accepted quote, receipt of the remaining payment on an order with a down payment, new product review, new product question, content notification, business account application, contact form requests and support messages from customers; additionally for admins, affiliate (commission-based order) and system alerts. Our employees can turn each notification type on or off separately for the phone and the admin panel, and choose the notification sound.
- When you tap a notification: The relevant screen opens; for customers, the support chat or order details, and for our employees, the relevant record in the admin panel.
- When permission is requested: If you have not granted notification permission, the app asks for permission with a short explanation dialog each time it is opened. When you tap "Allow", Android's permission dialog opens; if you have previously denied the permission permanently, "Open settings" takes you to the phone's settings. You can close the dialog; it will be shown again on subsequent openings until you grant permission. You can also turn notifications on and off under My Account › Settings › Notifications. Notifications are only sent to devices on which a member has signed in.
- Notification content: Notification texts do not include your name, e-mail address, phone number, address or message content; for example, they say "New message from the support team" or "Your order #… has been shipped". Whether the content of notifications is visible on the lock screen depends on your phone's notification settings.
- Data processed: When you grant notification permission, a notification token specific to your device is generated and recorded together with your account ID, device platform, app version, a random device ID generated by the app, and the session that performed the registration. Notifications are delivered via Google LLC's (USA) Firebase Cloud Messaging service; during this process Firebase processes the notification token, an installation ID, and the title and short text of the notification. If you do not grant notification permission, no notification token is generated on your device and no data is sent to Google for notifications.
- Retention: The notification token and device registration are deleted when you sign out, when you turn off notifications, when you delete your account, when the token becomes invalid, or when the app has not been used for 270 days. The text of the sent notification is deleted from our server after it has been sent; the delivery record is kept for 7 days, at most 30 days.
- Legal basis: Transactional notifications sent to customers are based on the performance of the contract (KVKK art. 5/2-c). Android's notification permission is a device setting; granting this permission does not mean that you accept to receive campaign messages. The safeguards for the transfer to Google are explained in section 5 of the Privacy Policy.
- Turning off: You can turn off notifications in Android settings under Apps › Supomp › Notifications, or in the app under My Account › Settings › Notifications by notification type.
4. Data stored on your device
- The app keeps the records that the site uses in the browser (session, cart, preferences, notification record and, if you have given permission, statistics identifiers) in the app's own storage area. The list of records and their durations are in the Cookie Policy.
- When you sign out, the cart, favorites and chat drafts are deleted from your device. When you clear the app data on Android or uninstall the app, all records on the device are deleted; this operation does not delete your account or your data on our server.
- The app's data on the device is not included in Android's device backup or device-to-device transfer; on a new phone you sign in again.
5. Account deletion
You can delete your account in the app via My Account › Settings › Delete my account. The data that is deleted and retained via other deletion methods is explained on the Account and Data Deletion page.
