Product description
The expansion vessel is used as a pressure tank in booster pump systems where municipal supply pressure is insufficient, and in closed-loop central heating systems to prevent the thermal expansion of heating water from causing excessive pressure that could damage the system.It is also used as a pressure tank in booster pump systems supplying pressurized water to buildings, to prevent the pump from cycling on and off too frequently.
In booster pump systems, the pump's start-up is controlled via the pressure switch setting, achieving energy savings, while correct pressure tank sizing ensures efficient and long-lasting pump operation.
