• Booster Pump: The pump must be selected according to the required flow rate and head.
• Pressure Tank: The pressure tank must be selected according to the pump capacity. Choosing a larger pressure tank reduces the number of start/stop cycles, thereby extending the service life of the booster set.
• Pressure Switch: This is the start/stop control for the booster set. The pressure switch on the booster set energizes the contactors in the control panel to start the pump motors and releases them when the desired pressure is reached, stopping the booster pump.
• Control Panel: This is the control panel of the booster set. Inside the panel, there are a motor protection relay, circuit breaker, contactor, thermal overload protection, and an on/off switch sized according to the motor current.
• Pressure Gauge: Indicates the operating pressure of the booster set.
