Product description
These pumps operate on 12 V and are extremely practical and easy to use. They are easy to install and are shipped with connection accessories (inlet/outlet hose fittings and a Y-strainer on the suction side). Because they run on 12 V, they are ideal for boats, yachts, and caravans, powered by a battery or solar energy. With a pressure of 3.1 bar and a flow rate of 0.7 tons per hour, they can meet all water needs on boats, yachts, and caravans, as well as in small apartments and vacation homes where mains power is unavailable but a battery or solar energy source is present. It is an automatic booster pump — it is connected directly to the water line and starts when you open a tap and stops when you close it. With a suction capacity of up to 1.8 m depth, it can also draw water from tanks and reservoirs. This model has a 2-liter tank added to the system; the tank absorbs expansion in the system, enabling the pump to operate more stably, and by storing water it prevents the motor from starting for low water usage, reducing motor wear and extending service life.
The expansion vessel is corrosion-resistant; its inlet is stainless steel and its body is made of polypropylene. Suitable for drinking water.
- The pump can be mounted horizontally or vertically. When mounted vertically, the pump head must face downward.
- The pump must be mounted in a dry, well-ventilated location.
- To prevent vibration, the rubber mounts should not be over-tightened.
- High-pressure flexible hose must be used.
- Use hose clamps to prevent air pressure build-up.
- A filter must be used between the pump and the tank. (A filter is included with the product.)
- Not suitable for continuous use. It must be allowed to rest at regular intervals.
