Product description

Nema NEQ 100-Liter Horizontal Expansion Vessel

• The expansion vessel is used as a pressure tank in booster pump systems where municipal supply pressure is insufficient, and in closed-loop central heating systems to prevent the thermal expansion of heating water from causing excessive pressure that could damage the system.
• They are also used in heating systems. (Operating temperature: -10 °C / +70 °C)
• It is also used as a pressure tank in booster pump systems that supply pressurized water to buildings, to prevent the pump from cycling on and off frequently.
• In booster pump systems, the pump's start-up is controlled via the pressure switch setting, achieving energy savings, while correct pressure tank sizing ensures efficient and long-lasting pump operation.
• The product must be pre-charged with air every 6 months. A pre-charge pressure of 4 Bar is sufficient.
• The product contains a diaphragm. If excessive pressure is applied or debris enters, the diaphragm may be punctured and may need to be replaced. The diaphragm is a consumable item and is not covered under warranty.
• The product is shipped after the air pressure has been checked.
• The product can withstand a maximum pressure of 10 bar. (The pump pressure must not exceed 10 bar.)
