Nema is a brand in the Supomp catalog offering horizontal expansion vessels. The 50-liter, 10-bar horizontal vessels are used as pressurized water reservoirs in booster pump systems. Horizontal vessels allow the pump to be mounted on top of the vessel in twin-pump booster sets, creating a compact unit. The 50-liter capacity causes the pump to cycle less frequently in small multi-apartment buildings and under heavy use, contributing to both energy savings and pump longevity. When selecting a vessel, check the connection size and the pump mounting plate dimensions. Set the vessel's air charge with the water side empty, slightly below the pump's cut-in pressure.
