Product description

Air-operated diaphragm pumps are used in many different applications across a wide range of fields. The products are air-operated and therefore work connected to a compressor. Because they run on air, they do not require electricity, and since they contain no electrically powered components, they are explosion-proof pumps. They are frequently used for transferring flammable, combustible and explosive materials. They pump high-viscosity liquids with ease. They can generate suction to a depth of 6 m and can prime without a foot valve. Maintenance and repair are easy and straightforward and can be carried out on-site. Air-operated pumps can work submerged as submersible pumps and can also be used as drum pumps.

Neoprene			Maximum Minimum
Resistance to vegetable oils is very good. Abrasion resistance is high. Acids, esters, and ketones are not preferred transfer fluids as they damage the material structure.			90°C / −22°C


Buna-N
Generally used with oils. High resistance when used for water and hydraulic oil transfer.			87°C / −22°C


EPDM
Good resistance to chemicals. Cannot withstand oils and solvents very well. Resistance to alcohols and ketones is moderate.			138 ˚C -40˚C


Teflon
Generally used with heavy chemicals and acids. Resistance is very good. Very suitable for liquid transfer at high temperatures.			100 ˚C -35˚C


Viton
Very good resistance to acids, oils, and solvents.			175 ˚C -40˚C


Santopren
Resistance to medium and weak acids is good. Abrasion resistance is high.			135 ˚C -40˚C


Polypropylene
Resistance to acids is good. Preferred for food, chemical, and cosmetic products.			82 ˚C 0˚C
