Gear pumps are used for the transfer and pressurization of lubricating, viscous, heavy fluids, or thin fluids with a density greater than water.WCB 75M Gear Pump Applications
Suitable for oils with viscosities of 10/40–5/30 and fluids of similar viscosity.
It must be operated continuously for a maximum of 30 minutes. During extended operation, transmission parts expand due to heat, increasing friction between parts, which will cause damage.
