How does it work?

Using a separate pump allows the water curtain to be turned on and off independently of filtration. The flow rate can be adjusted with a valve to change the appearance of the curtain.

Selection and installation

The width of the water curtain is chosen based on the desired visual effect and pool dimensions; as the width increases, so does the required flow rate. The pump's flow rate and pressure must meet the values needed for the water curtain to form a smooth sheet; insufficient flow causes the curtain to flow in broken streams. The water curtain must be installed completely level; even a slight tilt causes the water to flow heavily on one side. Installing a valve on the supply line makes flow adjustment easier.

Maintenance

Limescale and sediment build-up at the water curtain outlet disrupts the smooth flow of water; regular cleaning is required. During winter, the water in the lines should be drained to protect against freezing. Keeping pool chemicals balanced reduces scale build-up at the outlet.
