Weko PC-13A Hydromat, Booster Pump Automatic Electronic Controller

Pressure controllers are fitted to the pump outlet and enable the pump to operate automatically. They convert the pump into a booster pump without the need to install a pressure tank or pressure switch on the system. Because they use electronic control, they provide dry-run protection; when the pump cannot prime, it is protected automatically. Pressure controllers have a built-in check valve, so no additional check valve is needed at the pump inlet or outlet. They operate quietly, require no maintenance, and — thanks to the dry-run protection feature — can be installed directly on the mains line, unlike conventional expansion vessels.

The start pressure on the pressure controller is adjustable. The start pressure can be set in the range of 1.5–3 bar.

When the pump runs dry, it is automatically protected; when water returns, it restarts automatically without the need for a reset.
