S1011 General Purpose Solenoid Valve Specifications
S1011 general purpose solenoid valves are available in sizes from 1/8" to 1/4". 0–14 bar (varies by orifice), direct-acting. Normally open model.- Wide range of pressure, flow rate, and orifice options are available.
- Solenoid valves must be used with a filter.
- Solenoid valves can be mounted in any position without affecting operation; the coil-up vertical position is preferred.

- In normally open solenoid valves, fluid passes through the valve body when the coil is de-energized. When the coil is energized, the valve moves to the normally closed position and fluid flow stops. This type is preferred when the valve will remain in the normally open position for extended periods, so the coil is not kept under load for long.
- Suitable for air, water, and gas fluids. Used in sectors such as water treatment, paint manufacturing, cement, machine manufacturing, and ceramics.
- Solenoid valves are the most widely used control elements for fluids. Their functions can be summarized as enabling flow, shutting off flow, regulating dosage, or mixing two fluids. Solenoid valves are preferred in process lines due to their compact design, low cost, and long service life.
- It is recommended to use solenoid valves with a filter. If the fluid contains particulates such as sand or dirt, they can obstruct valve operation and shorten its service life.
- Solenoid valves can be mounted in any position without affecting operation; the coil-up vertical position is preferred.
