| Pressure Indicator (Pressure Gauge) During radiator flushing, the pressure gauge on the machine provides information such as the machine's efficiency, operating pressure, and whether there is a blockage in the system. If there is a blockage in the system, the machine's pressure will rise; the blockage is cleared by flushing that radiator until the pressure returns to normal. Note: High-pressure machines sold on the market are devices that are not suitable for use in plumbing cleaning. Because these devices operate at high pressure, they can damage combi boilers and central heating systems. The pressure of the machine used only needs to be sufficient to circulate water comfortably through the system; what matters is that the chemically treated water is rapidly circulated through the system to create a sweeping effect. For this reason, our machines use jet pumps that deliver water quickly at the appropriate pressure. The chemicals used are at least as important as the machine itself — avoid unreliable chemicals to ensure thorough cleaning and to protect the system.
