The booster pump automatically activates the moment water consumption begins and automatically stops when water consumption ends.

These are domestic booster sets ideal for residential use. With a suction capacity of up to 9 meters, they provide maximum suction even in locations where the water supply is intermittent.

They can be used safely in locations where high pressure is required with low power consumption. They are long-lasting booster sets suitable for use in buildings up to 5 floors and 12 units, as well as for garden irrigation.

The pre-charge gas pressure of the expansion vessel must be checked every 6 months and any pressure loss must be topped up.

The advantage of the expansion vessel in booster sets is that when a small amount of water is used, the booster pump does not activate — it first draws from the water stored in the tank, and the pump only starts when the tank water is depleted. The advantage of this is that the pump will not repeatedly start and stop with every water use, resulting in a longer service life. In other words, the larger the expansion vessel on your booster set, the more water it will store, meaning your booster pump will be put under less strain and will therefore last longer.

Important Notes When Using the Pedrollo 4CPm 100-C Low-Noise Booster Set

If the booster pump will draw water from a storage tank, it is advisable to use a level float switch in case the tank runs dry. If the tank runs dry, it will stop the unit from operating and prevent motor damage. When the tank refills, the booster pump will automatically resume operation.
