This is an automatic hot water booster pump, typically installed on the hot water line to increase its pressure — used when hot water from solar energy systems arrives without sufficient pressure, preventing hot and cold water from being mixed at the desired ratio.

What Is the Momentum ARP 15-90A Solar Hot Water Pressure Booster Pump?

This booster pump has two operating modes — manual and automatic. In manual mode it runs as long as the power plug is connected; in automatic mode it starts when you open a tap and stops when you close it. It is ideal for single-apartment and detached-house use; in homes where it is installed, there are no issues mixing hot and cold water to the desired temperature. These products are resistant to hot water and operate without problems in all solar energy systems.

When operating in automatic mode, if water stops flowing or is cut off, the pump will protect itself, so there are no fault issues — it is protected against dry running.

Pumpamat units produce approximately 0.9 bar of pressure and do not generate excessive pressure in the system; their primary purpose is to enable hot and cold water to be mixed at the desired ratio.

The pump and motor are sealless; two gaskets form a single integrated unit to ensure leak-tightness. The bearings are lubricated by the pumped liquid.
