What Is a Mist Fan?
Mist fans work by atomizing the water in their reservoir (breaking it into tiny droplets) and releasing it into the environment. These droplets absorb heat from the air, turning into water vapor and contributing to cooling the air in the process. They also prevent the air from drying out. For outdoor cooling, this is the best and most economical method: the water vapor dispersed into the environment cools the air by 3–8 °C within seconds and increases the relative humidity, creating a comfortable atmosphere.
