Operating Principle
The pumps are centrifugal pumps designed to operate permanently submerged in water. Their operating principle is similar to that of multistage centrifugal pumps. Impellers driven by the motor shaft rotate inside vaned diffusers, pressurizing the liquid toward the suction of the next stage; the liquid, which gains additional pressure at each stage, is pushed out through the pump outlet. Each impeller and its diffuser constitute one stage. In accordance with the centrifugal machine principle, the liquid gains additional pressure at each stage.
Installation and Application
These pumps are used for clean water and liquids. Due to their high performance and reliability, they are suitable for both domestic and construction/industrial applications, including pressure vessel-connected water distribution, garden and field irrigation, booster pump systems, fire suppression systems, and similar clean water and liquid transfer applications.
The pumps can be installed in wells with a diameter of 4" (100 mm) or larger. The pump must be installed with pipe connections so that it remains completely submerged (at least 50 cm below the lowest water level while the pump is running and at least one meter above the bottom of the well). Pumps with a motor power of 3 HP and below can also be used horizontally.
