What Is a Booster Pump Kit and What Is It Used For?
A booster pump kit consists of the parts needed to convert a water pump into a booster system; it includes at least 4 components. To convert a pump into a booster system, your pump must be able to deliver water to at least 30 m, i.e., 3 bar. You can find this information on the product label on your pump, where the Hmax (head) value is given in m or bar. If the Hmax value is greater than 30 m or 3 bar, you can convert your pump into a booster system.
What Is a Booster Pump?
Normally, water pumps operate manually — they run when you switch them on and stop when you switch them off. In some cases you may want the pump to operate automatically, starting when you open a tap and stopping when you close it. Pumps that operate automatically in this way are called booster pumps. Booster pumps remain connected to the power supply at all times, but only run when water is being used and stop when water use ends.

- 100 L Expansion Vessel: A balancing tank that ensures the system operates correctly. It also stores water internally, supplying water from the tank during low-demand use and preventing the motor from starting every time water is used, thereby extending its service life.
- Flex Connection Hose 1″ 100 cm: Provides the connection between the 5-way connector and the expansion vessel.
