Product description

Non-bursting expansion vessels have been developed as an ideal solution for a wide variety of applications, including pump systems, thermal expansion, irrigation systems, and hydraulic surge suppression.

Non-bursting tanks are made from a raw polypropylene liner and an FDA-approved, high-quality butyl diaphragm. This diaphragm is secured to the tank wall with a steel retaining ring. A brass air valve closed with a threaded O-ring valve cap prevents air leakage. Water enters the tank through a patented stainless steel water connection. Wear areas are specially reinforced for a longer service life of the diaphragm and liner. All internal components, including the air valve, are rounded to prevent diaphragm rupture under extreme conditions. The water connection features a unique double water/air gasket that provides a completely leak-free, maintenance-free pressure tank.

On the exterior, a two-component polyurethane topcoat in almond color applied over an epoxy primer provides hundreds of hours of UV and salt-spray protection.

Non-bursting tanks are subjected to quality testing at multiple stages on the production line to guarantee structural integrity.
