Product description
EuroFil 5" Washable Filter Cartridge Set Applications
5-inch washable filter sets can be used in homes, workplaces, or industrial settings to remove particles from water, or — depending on the minerals added — to soften water, remove taste and odor, or prevent scale. They can be installed before the water meter at the plumbing inlet, as well as at the inlets of washing machines and dishwashers, water heaters, car wash machines, solar energy systems, and tea boilers.
EuroFil 5" Washable Filter Cartridge Set Specifications
The washable cartridge water filter is used to trap sediment such as sand, particles, and silt from water. When the filter is full, it can be removed, washed, and reused.
How Much Sediment Does the EuroFil 5" Washable 50-Micron Filter Cartridge Hold?
Micron ratings on filters often raise questions for users. So what is a micron rating and how is it calculated?
1 micron = 1/1,000, or 0.001 mm; therefore:
50 microns = 1/20, i.e., 0.05 mm — in other words, one-twentieth of 1 mm in thickness.
