Aquafer 5" Washable Filter – Specifications

Water filters can be used in homes, workplaces, or industrial settings to remove particles from water, or with additional media for softening, taste and odor removal, or scale prevention. Washable Cartridge

The washable cartridge water filter is used to trap sediment such as sand, particles, and silt from water. When the filter is full, it can be removed, washed, and reused.

How Much Sediment Does a 50-Micron Water Filter Retain?

Micron ratings on filters often raise questions for users. So what is a micron rating and how is it calculated?

1 micron = 1/1,000, or 0.001 mm; therefore:

50 microns = 1/20, or 0.05 mm — in other words, one-twentieth of a millimeter.
