What Is Activated Carbon and What Does It Do?
Activated carbon is derived from coconut shells and, after activation, is used in powder and granular form. Bad color, bad odor, bad taste, organic matter, heavy metals, phenol, cyanide, and excess chlorine present in the water are eliminated by the activated carbon.
