Natura Filtre
Natura Filtre is a brand in the Supomp catalog, represented by its under-boiler magnetic filter. The magnetic sediment trap filter with a 3/4 inch connection is fitted to the boiler's return line to clean the system water before it enters the boiler. The powerful magnet inside the filter captures the black magnetic sludge formed by corrosion in the central heating system water; the mechanical strainer catches other sediment. This protects the boiler's heat exchanger and circulation pump and improves heat transfer. Adding a shut-off valve on each side of the filter during installation eliminates the need to drain the entire system when cleaning. The filter is typically cleaned during annual boiler servicing; fitting it after a radiator flush helps keep the system clean for longer.
