Danfoss is a Danish manufacturer of engineering and automation products and is represented in the Supomp catalog by its pressure switches. KP series pressure switches, with wide setting ranges, are used for pressure-based control in booster pump, compressor, refrigeration, and process applications. A pressure switch changes its contact when system pressure drops to the set lower value, starting the pump or compressor, and stops it when the upper value is reached. When selecting a product, ensure the setting range covers your operating pressure, the contact capacity is appropriate for the load to be controlled, and the connection type is compatible with your system. High-power motors should be controlled via a contactor rather than directly through the pressure switch.
