Coverco is a brand in the Supomp catalog, featured for its submersible motors. Oil-cooled submersible motors in the 4-inch class, available in various power ratings, are among these products. Submersible motors are connected below the borehole pump and operate underwater, replacing pump casings purchased without a motor or motors that have failed. Oil-cooled motors offer a sealed and compact design thanks to the special oil inside them. When selecting a motor, choose a model that matches the power rating and connection dimensions stated on the pump casing's nameplate. Water flow over the motor casing is required for cooling; a cooling jacket is recommended for use in wide wells. Single-phase motors require a suitable capacitor and control panel.
