Altınay
Altınay is a brand in the Supomp catalog offering saltwater and chemical transfer pumps. The olive brine pump and the chemical and saltwater pump are presented as 220 V self-priming models. These pumps are designed for tasks such as transferring brine between tanks in olive and pickle processing facilities, and transferring saltwater and mild chemical solutions. Because saltwater causes rapid corrosion in ordinary metal pumps, salt-resistant casing pumps should be preferred for these applications. Flushing the pump with clean water after each use prevents salt crystals from building up in the casing and mechanical seal. Using a Y-strainer on the suction line is recommended.
